Jason Smith

Varsity Offensive Coordinator

College:  Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ)

High School:  Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)

Coach Smith has over 20 years of experience as a player/coach including Program Director at CyFair, Offensive Coordinator at Langham Creek, Head Coach at Magnolia, and Head Coach at CyWoods.  Coach Smith helped guide the CyFair Ironmen to the 2017 City Championship, Langham Creek to their first State playoff appearance, and CyWoods to their first, and back-to-back, State playoff appearances.  Coach Smith was named the 2019 THSLL Coach of the Year while at Magnolia.

Coach Smith was a 3-year Varsity player at Lake Braddock, winning the VA State Championship as a Senior and earning All-American accolades.  Coach Smith continued his playing career at Rutgers University under Hall of Fame and former Team USA coach Tom Hayes.  

Coach Smith is the Founder and Director of Texas Legacy Lacrosse, a select Lacrosse program serving the Houston area during the Summer and Fall seasons.  Over the past 5 years, Coach Smith has helped place over 80 players to the Collegiate level.
