Coach Joe Brooks is the former defensive coordinator for Auburn High School Lacrosse. Joe played varsity Midfield for Great Mills high school in Maryland for 3 years and earning the 2007 sportsmanship award. From there Joe played 2 years as defensive mid at Susquehanna University under Stewart Moan. Joe started coaching in 2016 at Prep school St Maria Goretti in Maryland as a Defensive Coordinator, where he helped lead the team to its first ever IPSL win and even made a run in the IPSL championship game. He also helped coach Auburn High to its first ever undefeated regular season in 2021 in the GBYLA with a 14-0 record. Falling to 3 time champion Mountain Brook in overtime in the semi finals.
